“I don’t believe in coincidences,” Winston said, “but…to see [Chubb] bounce back and finish in the end zone in front of these great fans and get a chance to celebrate…I’m so proud of him. Before the game, I said, ‘Hey, I got your back. I know how important this game is to you, and you can count on me.’”
Chubb scored two rushing touchdowns for Cleveland Thursday night, including the go-ahead score at the end of the game. Last month, the running back wrote that he knew his 2023 injury was serious when even the Steelers were praying over him on the field. Chubb thanked God for healing him and thanked Browns fans for having his back while he recovered.
